This year's speakers
Our key speaker this year will be Bob Sheff, M.D. on Monday the 22 and he will speak on Getting the Health Care You Deserve in Today's Medical System. A published author of The Medical Mentor. We will also have an informational segment from Viki Kind about Advance Medical Directives.
Accommodations
The Orleans has offered us 20 rooms for $70.00 per night plus 9% room tax. An additional five rooms will be available for Saturday the 21 for 130.00 for the night. They usually do not accept Saturday check in so this was all that was available to us. There is a mandatory $5.00 resort fee per room, per day. This fee will include access to the fitness-center, in-room coffee and unlimited local and 800 calls.
The rooms are for single or double occupancy with one king or two queen size beds. The hotel offers smoking and non smoking rooms and is a newer hotel with lots of casino activities, restaurants, coffee shops, gift shop, theater and bowling. A free bus to the Vegas strip, spa and spa services, swimming pools and lots more. You also get a free coupon book and greeting gifts.
The cut-off date for your room block is 09/19/07. Any reservations received after this date will be accepted on a "space available" basis. To ensure space availability, please call in a timely manner.
Sunday is often an arrival day when we meet others. Monday is conference day, Tuesday we visit and some go home. THE TIMES AND MEETING PLACES FOLLOW THIS BULLETIN. Our room rates are extended from Saturday the 20 through Thursday the 25.
The number to call for the room reservations at the Orleans Hotel and Casino is 1-800-675-3267 during open hours of (Monday - Friday between 7:00AM and 11:00PM - Pacific Time / Saturday & Sunday between the hours of 9:00AM and 5:00PM - Pacific Time.
You MUST identify yourself as attendees of the INTERNATIONAL STILLS CONFERENCE in order to obtain a room reservation under the above-mentioned block. Without this identification, you will not be quoted your special group rate and may be told they are sold out.
At the time the reservation is made, you will be asked to provide a major credit card or send a deposit for the first nights room and tax. If a credit card is utilized, it will automatically be charged the first night's room and tax.
Each room must be occupied by at least one adult, 21 years of age or older.
Cancellations on individual room reservations will be accepted up to 72 hours prior to the check in time of 4 p.m. on the scheduled date of arrival with no penalty fee. However, any individual who cancels their reservation after this cut-off will be responsible for one night's room and room tax.
This conference is without a doubt one of the most empowering opportunities members of our organization has to deal with Stills Disease and the countless ways it affects our lives, you will make some of the best life long friends you have ever had!
